At Art Village Nursery we recognize that a well-balanced diet is vital to a child’s health, and for children to grow properly. To optimize growth and development, children need a healthy and balanced diet. Art Village Nursery provides the children with a healthy and balanced home cooked school menu that is carefully planned to ensure that the children will receive a variety of different foods geared to provide all of the essential daily nutrients required to maintain a good health. the menu consists of breakfast and lunch, also an afternoon snack and dinner for those children staying at the nursery for a full day. We also serve fruit during mid-morning to ensure that energy levels are maintained. All of the ingredients we use are fresh, additive free and made daily in the school kitchen.We promote healthy lifestyle and habits. We know how critically important the early years are for the formation of good habits and positive attitude towards healthy, varied eating. We serve fresh fruits and vegetables every day with the meals. We do not serve food with high sugar content. All groups use baking as a tool for the holistic learning.
